Eleven+ Welcomes Mary Akerele

Eleven+ is excited to announce the hiring of Mary Akerele as the Marketing Intern for the summer of 2023. Mary, a Somerset, NJ resident, brings her impressive academic background and passion for marketing to the team at Eleven+.

Currently a rising senior at St. Peters University, Mary is a psychology major and a marketing management minor. Outside of her academic pursuits, Mary has been actively involved in various extracurricular activities on campus. She has played an integral role in the Student Government, contributing her leadership skills to drive positive change within the university community.

Mary has also been an active member of the African Student Association and the Black Student Union, fostering inclusivity and celebrating cultural diversity on campus. As Peer Career Mentor in the Career Engagement Experiential Learning Center at Saint Peter's University, Mary supported the staff and assisted with coordinating and managing job fairs that lead to increased student employment.

By joining Eleven+ as a Marketing Intern, Mary will gain invaluable hands-on experience and further develop her marketing skills, content creation, strategic planning, and campaign execution.

In a unique feature of the Eleven + Internship Program, Mary will also participate in various professional development workshops and receive training on career skills ranging from job readiness to networking. Through this experience, Mary will strengthen her marketing knowledge, and she is committed to raising engagement and support for the Eleven+ mission and the value of the internship experience for students.
